Community Update: Upcoming Community Dinners and Lunches

Way’ Members,  

The Administration, Food Security, and Elders teams will be hosting a number of meals for members this week. Please see below for more details: 

August 5^th at 5:00pm – Dinner at the Prestige Hotel Vernon – 4411 32^nd St, Vernon BC 

Sorry for the short notice again but OKIB will be hosting a dinner at the Prestige Hotel Ballroom tonight for Members who would like to gather and eat together. A dinner of meatballs, rice, veggies and dessert will be served at 5pm, doors to the ballroom will be open all day. Feel free to come and visit.   

Shuttle transportation from the Fairfield Hotel to the Prestige Hotel will be available at 4:30pm 

August 6^th  9:30am to 5:00pm– Community Lunch at the Elks Lodge – 3103  30^th St, Vernon BC  

All OKIB Members are invited to a community gathering to come together, have lunch and connect. Doors open at 9:30am, lunch will be served at 12pm with bingo to follow shortly after lunch.  

Shuttle transporation is also being planned for this event, more details will be available soon.  

August 7^th 9:30 am – 4:30pm – Open Gathering at Elks Lodge – 3103 30^th St, Vernon  

The Elks hall will be open for all members to gather any time between 9:30am and 4:30pm. Coffee and snacks will be available for members.
