Community Notice: Do Not Consume Water Advisory

A Do Not Consume Water Advisory has been issued for the following community water systems:

• Okanagan Indian Band Systems Six Mile / Bradley Creek / Irish Creek / Head of the Lake Community Water System (DWS #429)
• 59 Antoine Road Community Water System (DWS #2391)

Under a Do Not Consume Water Advisory, tap water is not safe to consume, and boiling the water will not make it safe.

Please use bottled water for:

• Drinking
• Cooking and food preparation
• Making infant formula
• Coffee, tea, juice, and other beverages
• Brushing teeth
• Washing fruits and vegetables
• Making ice
• Drinking water for pets

Tap water may continue to be used for:

• Hand washing
• Washing dishes
• Laundry
• Flushing toilets
• Bathing (except for infants and toddlers)

This advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Please continue using bottled water until the advisory has been officially lifted.
