Community Update: Bradley Creek Fire Update – Hand Ignition Event

BC Wildfire has given notice that they will be moving ahead with a hand ignition event today to protect houses and infrastructure in the Bonneau Road area.

A hand ignition event is a controlled burn, planned to remove a small amount of fuel along a fire’s edge

This hand ignition controlled burn is being planned to remove approximately 2 ha of fuel. The fire is expected to be low intensity.
