Okanagan Indian Band

The Okanagan Indian Band is part of the Okanagan Nation, which comprises seven Indian Bands, including Lower Similkameen Indian Band, Upper Similkameen Indian Band, Osoyoos Indian Band, Penticton Indian Band, Westbank First Nation, Upper Nicola Indian Band and the Okanagan Indian Band.

Category 1 Fire Ban (campfires) now in effect on OKIB

OKIB will be implementing a Category 1 fire prohibition effective Friday to align with the BC Wildfire Service and help reduce wildfire risk within our community. This ban is in addition to the current category 2 and 3 fire bans already in place.
