Interfor Pile Burning Above Westside Road

The OKIB Territorial Stewardship Division has been notified that Interfor is conducting pile burning in the hills above Westside Road.
 
Interfor has confirmed that venting will be good today, so they will have a crew out to the OKAS blocks today to try and get this work completed.
 
Work will take place in the OKAS blocks  above Westside Road between Naswhito Creek and Whitemans Creek.
 
You may see smoke or a visible glow from the burn locations. The work is not expected to continue through the weekend.
 
Crews will continue to monitor the area closely to ensure the burn remains controlled and safe.
