Community Update As of 9:00pm, Aug 1, 2026: Bradley Creek Wildfire Evacuation Orders

As fire conditions changed throughout the day, the Okanagan Indian Band Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) issued a series of Evacuation Orders in response to the Bradley Creek Wildfire (K41351). The orders were expanded as necessary to protect public safety as the incident evolved.

The three Evacuation Order areas are shown in the maps below:

• Evacuation Order 1: All residents north of Bonneau Road and south of Highway 97, including residents across the lake along Head of the Lake Road, Hawhola Road, and all properties to the OKIB IR 1 boundary.
• Evacuation Order 2: All OKIB IR 1 properties south of Six Mile Creek to Westshore Estates.
• Evacuation Order 3: All remaining OKIB IR 1 properties, resulting in all of Okanagan Indian Band IR 1 now being under an Evacuation Order.

If you are within any Evacuation Order area, you must leave immediately. Please follow the directions of emergency personnel and use only the designated evacuation routes.

The Bradley Creek Wildfire remains extremely active and volatile. Community members and visitors are reminded to stay away from evacuation order areas, respect road closures, and allow firefighters and emergency responders the space they need to safely carry out their work.
