On the recommendation of the BC Wildfire Service (BCWS), the Okanagan Indian Band Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has issued an Evacuation Alert for:

This alert has been issued due to the Bradley Creek Wildfire (K41351).

At this time, an Evacuation Order is NOT in effect. Residents and visitors are not required to leave the area; however, everyone within the alert area should be prepared to evacuate on short notice if conditions change.

What you should do now

Community members within the alert area are encouraged to:

  • Prepare a grab-and-go emergency kit with essential supplies.
  • Gather important documents, medications, and valuables.
  • Make arrangements for pets and livestock if an evacuation becomes necessary.
  • Fuel your vehicle and ensure it is ready to leave quickly.
  • Discuss where your household will go if an Evacuation Order is issued.
  • Register with Emergency Support Services (ESS) in advance to help speed up assistance if you are evacuated.
