Community Update: Garbage Collection Service Resuming

Way’ Members,

Please be advised that Garbage Collection for the residents who have returned to their homes in the Round Lake and Head of the Lake areas will be resuming. Our apologies for the late notice on services resuming, we are working on coordinating existing services to members with recovery services.

Daily garbage collection services are being scheduled to allow residents to dispose of food and cleaning waste safely during this initial time back to your home.

As a reminder to residents, please do not leave any garbage out overnight, wildfire impacts have pushed bears into human habituated areas as they search for food and water. Garbage and food waste can be a bear attractant.

The daily garbage collection schedule for August 13th – 19th for Head of the Lake area, Irish Creek Rd South, and Round Lake area is included below:  

·       Thursday, August 13^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am

·       Friday, August 14^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am

·       Saturday, August 15^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am

·       Monday, August 17^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am

·       Tuesday, August 18^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am

·       Wednesday, August 19^th: please have garbage out by 9:00 am
