Junior Emergency Support Services (ESS) Program – Justice Institute BC (online training)
Calling on all grade 10-12 OKIB students and OKIB Youth under the age of 25.
What is it?
A structured, membership-based Youth program focused on emergency preparedness, community resilience, and leadership development.
The OKIB Emergency Program Coordinator is introducing the Junior Emergency Support Services Program – an opportunity to learn how the community responds to emergencies such as wildfires, floods, and power outages.
What you’ll gain:
-Hands on training in emergency response and community support.
-Volunteer credits toward high school graduation
-Mentorship from experienced ESS team members
