OKIB Online Meetings Switching to Microsoft Teams

The Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) will be transitioning from Zoom to Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings.

Key Dates:
April 27th – Final day using Zoom
May 4th – First meeting hosted on Microsoft Teams

This change is part of our efforts to improve collaboration, security, and overall meeting experience.

How to Join Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is free, easy to join and features many of the same features with Zoom that you may already be familiar with. Teams meetings can still be accessed via a link, just like Zoom, which will be shared on OKIB official platforms. However, you can also sign up and download the desktop and mobile version.
To ensure your online safety, please only download Microsoft Teams through official sources such as your device’s app store or the official Microsoft website. Do not download Microsoft Teams links shared in reposts or comments.
