Community Update: Bradley Creek water system tap water now safe to drink

Update as of August 20^th

Way’ Members,

OKIB is happy to announce that as of August 20^th, the Bradley Creek water system Water Quality Advisory has been lifted. Tap water from this water system is now safe to drink out of the tap.

OKIB staff under the guidance of First Nations Health Authority have cleaned and flushed water lines and reservoirs. All bacteriological samples have returned clear.

Water Jugs

Public Works and Housing would like to remind members to please return all water jugs!

Water jugs can be returned to the Public Works and Housing – 11505 Westside Road, Vernon, BC

Thank you for your patience and understanding while staff have worked to resolve the water quality issue.
