Notice of low level aerial survey flyover – Between May 10th to 20th

Way’ Members,

We’ve recieved notice that FortisBC will be conducting low level aerial flyovers in the Okanagan from May 10th to 20th. The helicopter will be inspecting high-pressure transmission lines for possible leaks. Talon Helicopters, on behalf of FortisBC, is permitted to conduct low-level flying over our transmission lines at an altitude of approximately 90 to 152 metres above the ground using LaSen’s aerial LiDAR leak detection technology to inspect the lines for possible leaks.

There will not be any work on the ground during these flights.
