GIVING THANKS FOR OUR ELDERS: COLOURING CONTEST

We invite children and youth to take part in our Giving Thanks for Our Elders Colouring Contest.

This is an opportunity to get creative while giving thanks to the Elders who share their knowledge, teachings, stories, language, and guidance with our families and communities.

Who can participate: Open to all First Nations children ages 3-18 in Syilx Okanagan territory, including Syilx communities and schools.
Submission deadline: September 28, 2026

How to submit: Submit your artwork at an ONA office or scan and send to jordans.principle2@syilx.org.

We look forward to seeing the creativity and thoughtful messages from our children and youth as we give thanks for our Elders.
