BEGINNER GRAMMAR SESSION Tuesday April 23 • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm • This session will review basic grammar knowledge for the Okanagan dialect of Salish. This will include learning about person markers, suffixes, roots and word stems, intro to aspect and understanding how unique Okanagan Salish is compared to English

LANGUAGE LEARNING AND THE BRAIN Wednesday April 24• 9:00 am – 11:00 am • How brain development and neuronal activity works and how to leverage that knowledge to support language learning and validate cultural knowledge.

INTERMEDIATE GRAMMAR SESSION Wednesday April 24• 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm • This session will focus on conjucations for various aspects in the intransitive and look at subject markers for transitive in the past/present tense. This session will go over the two subject markers in Okanagan Salish and when to use them. Also, will review direct versus indirect objects/articles. If time allows, can also explore weak and strong roots.

ADVANCED GRAMMAR SESSION Thursday April 25• 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm • This session will expire transitive aspects beyond past/present tense. In addition, go deeper into the ditransitive (-łt, -xt)
