First Nations Child and Family Claims ‘Claim Helper’ Information sessions

The Claims Helper Information Sessions are organized to support individuals seeking compensation for children who were removed from their homes. This includes both former children in care and parents or family members who had children removed by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). These sessions are intended for anyone who has either been in care themselves or had children removed from their home by the MCFD.

These Information sessions are for OKIB Band Members only.

Information Sessions

Sessions will be limited to 24 individuals per session on a first come first served basis.

Additional meetings will be hosted in the future, both on and off reserve and online.

July 17th 9:00am to 12:00pm @ Lake Country Municipal Hall, (10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road )

July 22nd 5:30pm to 7:00pm @ New Horizons building

July 24th 5:30pm to 7:00pm @ Head of the Lake Hall

July 25th 5:30pm to 7:00pm @ Salmon River/Round Lake Hall
