The OKIB Language & Culture Program is happy to share this years activities for our annual kn sqilxʷ sx̌l̓x̌ʕalt (Indigenous Peoples Day) event.

5:00am – Sunrise ceremony
8:00am – Chief and Council breakfast
8:30am – Hide scraping
10:00am – Run for the Drum
11:00am – Scavenger hunt
1:00pm – bingo, children’s activities, canoeing, live music, spicn processing, language games, traditional games, rock painting, double ball
2:00pm – Hand drum contest
4:00pm – Dinner
