
Community Update: Food and Essential Supplies Available at Bluebird

The OKIB Wellness Team has been gathering food, toiletries and other essential supplies at the Bluebird Building to continue supporting Members and families during wildfire recovery.
Beginning Tuesday, August 25, Bluebird will be open for Members to stop by, pick up available food and essential items, and take a hot meal to go.
Available items may include canned goods, fresh vegetables, toiletries and other household essentials. A hot takeout option, such as soup, stew or chili with buns, will also be available each day.
When: Tuesday, August 25 to Friday, August 28
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Bluebird Building, 70 Head of the Lake Road
There is no scheduled meal time or sit-down meal service. Members are welcome to stop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Food and supplies will vary based on available inventory and donations and will be available while quantities last.
Transportation from Vernon
Shuttle transportation to Bluebird will be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week for Members who remain in Vernon and need a ride to access these supports.
There will be no Bluebird shuttle on Thursday, August 27,
