Community Update: Important Update on OKIB Emergency Support Services

Please be advised, if your residence is in an area where and Evacuation Order has been rescinded, and you currently have ESS accommodations approved to a future date, you may remain in your accommodation until the approved expiry date. You do not have to leave your accommodation prematurely.

ESS services that have already been approved will continue to be honoured until their scheduled expiry date and will not end early because an Evacuation Order has been rescinded.

Please note: When your accommodation expires, please check out with the hotel/accommodation, do not just leave. This ensures that available accommodations can be tracked, and that available rooms can be assigned to someone else in need.
