The Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) Youth Leadership Council (YLC) and the What Happens Upstream (WHU) Planning Committee is excited to present the 3rd Annual What Happens Upstream Youth conference.

This year we are focusing on “Good Conflict.” The name of our conference: kʷu ʔasəlʔ aʔspuʔús meaning we are of two different hearts. This is to acknowledge that we may not always agree but can work together towards a solution. Through this theme, we hope to support skill building related to communication and wellness so that we can be in good conflict with others.

This year’s conference aims to empower Young people in the Okanagan by equipping them with the basic skills necessary to manage and resolve conflicts effectively and with care.
