DESCRIPTION:Food Share Program – October 31st 3-6pm @Bluebird building \nWay’ Members\, \nThis Thursday\, October 31st will likely be the last food share program date of the season. Food will be distributed on a first come first served basis. \nPlease bring your own bags or boxes. \nThe Food Share program would also like to thank everyone who has engaged with\, participated in and contributed to this initiative. Your involvement is what makes our work possible! It was a program full of amazing harvests\, story telling\, laughs and recipe sharing. We’re looking forward to doing it all again next year! \nPlease note that if there is any remaining produce\, the Food Share Program will extend one more week at Duck Lake\, however this will depend on supply. \n  \n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Little Warriors Program Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm – 7pm @ New Horizons\nProgram begins October 8th and runs until December 5th.\nFor Youth ages 5-10\nLittle Warriors is another new program being developed at OKIB Youth Activities. It can be best described as “Syilx Scouts”. Combining inspiration from Scouts Canada’s manual and Syilx traditional teachings\, with supports and training from You Power\, NCCP\, and local facilitators\, this program will give OKIB kids a greater connection to our land and water\, a broadened sense of community and responsibility\, a bigger respect for our history and traditions\, independence\, problem-solving\, and more\, in a fun and age-appropriate environment!\nTo register please contact: activities@okanagan.org or 250-241-6946
