DESCRIPTION:OKIB Elders Meeting with Canadian National Institute for the Blind \nThursday April 18\, 2024 starting at 1:00pm. @ Bluebird building \n\nCNIB Information Session – Thursday\, April 18\, 2024 @1pm OPEN TO ALL Community Member – important meeting as appointments can / will be made at this presentation – this presentation is following luncheon all invited to attend lunch as well\n\n_________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nPurpose: Helping individuals and family members that have vision loss. \nWho should attend: \n-All Community Members that may have vision loss and or their family support/advocate. \n-Following the presentation appointments can/ will be made for individuals \nWhat is CNIB? \n-Canadian National Institute for the Blind works to provide support\, knowledge and life skills to support individuals who are blind or partially sighted have confidence\, skills\, and tools such as glasses and magnifiers to fully participate in life. \n-Dedicated specialists work with people of all ages in their own homes\, communities or local CNIB  offices \n-Providing the personalized rehabilitation support they need to see beyond vision loss\, build their independence and lead the lives they want.
