Territorial Stewardship - Forestry

Okanagan Band's logging operation runs under the supervision and coordination of Colleen Marchand. The logging crew has been in operation for several years employing several band members including the supervisor. The logging crew works in various locations within the band's traditional territory and are currently bidding on contracts outside the territory within B.C. and possibly Alberta with the Ministry of Forests and various forest companies. The band's logging department owns and operates all its own equipment and ensures that all the employees have the training and certification required to maintain a safe productive environment.

Please contact the Territorial Stewardship Division 250-542-7132 if you have any questions.
