As Supervisor of the Lands Department I oversee the Land Management program as directed by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AAND) for Okanagan Reserve lands. Our office also deals with Band member requests for information on leasing land on Reserve. But our office does not negotiate or prepare lease documents. We work on a daily basis with other Band office Departments such as Public Works, Finance, Housing, Natural Resources, Eagle Rock Aggregates and Membership on various matters. Also we work with various levels of the Provincial Government and Federal Agencies on topics concerning Okanagan Reserve lands.
